About me

Hi! I'm Astrid Lamberink, 30 years old, married to my husband Jeroen
and proud mother of two sweet sons.

My passion for baking started as a fun hobby, but quickly grew into something bigger!
In September 2022, I started SmulSchilderijtjes, just to see where it would take me.
What began as a creative outlet quickly became more serious thanks to your enthusiasm and countless orders. In January 2023, I decided to take the plunge and officially registered my business with the Chamber of Commerce (KVK).

I started baking from our living room, but demand quickly grew, so I temporarily moved to a small baking studio at my parents' house. In the meantime, I was still working full-time in healthcare, but to keep up with all the orders, I switched to part-time work (every other weekend) so I can bake delicious treats for you during the week!

A small idea grew into something bigger!

What started as a fun idea grew into something I get to work on every day and get excited about: making personalized cookies, baked based on my own recipe: super tasty and unique! An original alternative to cake (much longer shelf life!) or the standard rusk with sprinkles.

Every order feels like a new little adventure: from conceptualizing a design to hand-decorating each cookie. It's special to see how something simple (like a few cheerful cookies) can bring so much joy to you all: whether it's for a birth, birthday, or holiday.

Through SmulSchilderijtjes, I can express my creativity and my passion for baking, and thus create something beautiful and personal for others every day. How great is that!

And although it's hard work, seeing happy faces and enthusiastic reactions makes it all doubly worthwhile :) Are you going to order them too?
